The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it is actually alarmed with regard to the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance point designed for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to here help the SRD servicing of all buyers and maximize usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
